A good night’s rest can be one of the best remedies for painful joints. Here are some ideas to help you gain a peaceful night’s sleep:
* Make sure your bedroom is dark, quiet and comfortable
* Do not go to bed hungry or within 2 to 3 hours after eating
* Keep a regular sleep schedule
* In the evening avoid drinking caffeine or alcohol
* Tell your doctor if you’re having sleep trouble
